The Municipality of Pandan, Catanduanes received the Gawad Paglilingkod sa Sambayanan Award for Model Local Government Unit Implementing KALAHI CIDSS for its successes not only in empowering the municipality’s citizens through the Community Driven Development (CDD) process, but also in developing innovative best practices that help advance CDD further.

The Pugo Women’s Association of Baguias, Benguet received the National Best Volunteers - Group Category for the PaNata Ko sa Bayan - Salamat Po! Award. Pugo Women’s Association is a volunteer group formed and empowered through the CDD process of KALAHI CIDSS. The group has been one of the main drivers of success for the community sub-projects in their community.

The PaNata Ko sa Bayan Awards is part of DSWD’s efforts to thank and recognize individuals, groups, and organizations that support the department’s programs and services.
